Planes of the U.S. Navy are always remarkable. Especially the planes from aircraft carriers. The landing gear is very heavy and reliable. If an F-16 would like to land on a carrier, the undercarriage would be torn off.

At Wednesday May 20 1998, a C-130 Hercules of the U.S. Navy landed at Eindhoven to collect some equipment for the local exercise 'Optic Windmill'. At about 17.30 hours the plane landed, at 20.00 hours it left.

Volkel

The most beautiful plane ever built, the F-14 Tomcat, visited Volkel in 1992 for an exercise. 2 F-14's and 3 F-18's were a week at Volkel.

Leeuwarden

In October 1983, at a 323 squadron jubilee, an F-14, an A-6 and an A-7 came to Leeuwarden. This A-7 is landing at the Marssum side of the field.
